Nuur considers the function and meaning humans assign to objects as a learned concept that can be re-moulded into a new meaning. This gives room to stretch the meaning of the hot-air balloon that forms the entrance to the exhibition. The balloon is a literal mode of transportation for the balloonist and a metaphorical one for the audience. She once lifted balloonists up and touched the clouds. Now, she is here on earth, witness to a visit to heaven, taking us into the space of the Oude Kerk.
