Johannes Jelgerhuis (1770–1836) drew this exterior of the Oude Kerk seen from the Enge Kerksteeg in 1815. From this alleyway you can see the church’s northwest wall, with the Weitkoperskapel , the north porch and the Heilig Grafkapel. Jelgerhuis was a painter and actor who moved to Amsterdam in 1806.
