Through wires, 158 (the number of days of the exhibition) light bulbs were connected. The lamps were on the floor. As time passes, one lamp was automatically switched of at noon every day until all lights were faded on the last day of the exhibition. By seeing the lights in this grave monument of mayor De Graeff and his family, one could question the moment when our human energy has faded. Is that in the case of a physical absence or when nobody talks or thinks about you?

Based on earlier work from 2015, re-installed in Oude Kerk.
