These choir stalls are located on the south side of the Oude Kerk’s High Choir, executed in Late Gothic style and thought to have been made around 1500. The stalls consist of 21 seats separated by partitions and armrests fitted with a lectern at the front. The undersides of the folding seats feature misericords, designs carved into the wood, against which worshippers can lean during long masses.
