Laima Jaunzema (LV, 1987) studied contemporary dance in Denmark, Germany, and at SNDO (School for New Dance Development) at Amsterdam University for the Arts. Her work is connected to various places, where she notices herself coming and going from by different life time experiences and relations. Her artistic interest on discovering the medium of body is influenced by the silence of one’s own intimacy on the contrary of being exposed to the universal space, displacement of retrospecting gaps in communication and perceptions, and delays of politics to react.
