On the spot where the altar stood in the Roman Catholic existence (1306-1576) of the Oude Kerk, the artist laid flowers. The flowers reminded the deceased who have been buried for centuries long as a touching tribute. At the same time, the flowers made one aware of the time behind us. The flowers were dried up and, were conserved by the plastic foil, in an effort to preserve them for upcoming times.

Based on earlier work from 1989, re-installed in Oude Kerk.
