Chairs of this design were also known as ‘Spanish chairs’. These come originally from the Mirror Room. The chairs have a simple design with straight legs that are connected with horizontal struts at the bottom. The seat covering is of leather, which has been stamped with a diamond motif and affixed with tacks.
