Between 2017-2019, Lukas Feireiss directed the interdisciplinary programme Radical Cut-Up at Sandberg Instituut, Amsterdam. The programme celebrated the emergence and evolution of the cut-up as the contemporary mode of creativity and dominant global mode of cultural production today. Radical Cut-Up encouraged participants to copy, combine, create, and celebrate experimental forms of creative production. The term cut-up was to be understood as a mixture or fusion of disparate elements or the art of carefully crafted juxtaposition.
