Jo Kali is a writer and musicologist. During a Come Closer session in January 2019 , she gave a workshop with deep listening exercises and sonic meditation. For 12 April, Kali created a pre-recorded audio contribution called 'Swamp', in which she uses listening as a means to question how we perceive our surroundings. Visitors listened to her audio narration through headphones, in which the Oude Kerk had been transformed into a swamp, and in doing so they could move freely through the space.
