Susan Ploetz (US/DE) is an artist-researcher working with somatics, theory, text, performance and real-life simulations in various speculative situations. Her work deals with the overlapping spaces of soma (body) and technos (technique); she uses imagination, magical materiality and protocol (agreements and ground rules) to induce emancipatory emotional dissonances and an expansion of perception and consciousness.
