The Sweelinck Chamber Choir began over 25 years ago as a choir of the editorial staff of the Reformatorisch Dagblad. It has since grown into an enthusiastic chamber choir. The name chosen for the choir at the time was Sweelinck, one of the few great Dutch composers of church music. At most concerts, they therefore sing one of the many psalms arranged by him.
