David Helbich (DE, 1973) is a sound, installation and performance artist, photographer and teacher. He creates works for the stage, paper and online media and the public space. He studied composition in Amsterdam and Freiburg and has lived and worked in Brussels since 2002.

His trajectory moves between pieces and interventions, conceptual work and actions. His works are presented in print but also in live performances, audio guides and on social media. They respond to physical and social experiences and often involve audiences performing the work themselves.
