At this point, Red Light Radio (2010-2020) had been broadcasting from a former prostitution window on Oudekerksplein for almost five years. The online radio station had become the go-to place for music-loving Amsterdam - many local DJs and artists had their own radio show there, but artists from abroad were also eager guests. Dark metal, obscure disco or the latest electronic music: Red Light Radio's selectors (unlike Spotify) let you hear music you didn't know you were looking for yet. During this Come Closer , the studio moved into the air for once: from the Oudekerksplein to the roof of the Oude Kerk. In conversation with Radna Rumping, seven resident DJs here shared a song they had chosen specifically for this occasion.
