At this point, Red Light Radio (2010-2020) had been broadcasting from a former prostitution window on Oudekerksplein for almost five years. The online radio station had become the go-to place for music-loving Amsterdam - many local DJs and artists had their own radio show there, but artists from abroad were also eager guests. Dark metal, obscure disco or the latest electronic music: Red Light Radio's selectors (unlike Spotify) let you hear music you didn't know you were looking for yet. During this Come Closer , the studio moved into the air for once: from the Oudekerksplein to the roof of the Oude Kerk. In conversation with Radna Rumping, seven resident DJs here shared a song they had chosen specifically for this occasion. Featuring Amal Alhaag (Africa Is Hot), Bea1991, Calypso Steve (Redlight Records), Femke Dekker (Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting), Marcel Vogel (Lumberjacks In Hell), Margie and Rege Satanas. The audience listened to the broadcast on the spot.
