Gideon Bodden (NL, 1971) started his career as a carillon player in 1983 at the music school in Hilvarenbeek and went on to study at both Belgian (Mechelen) and Dutch (Amersfoort) carillon schools. Since 2005, he plays the organ in the tower of the Oude Kerk. He is a specialist in designing bell profiles and in tuning carillon bells.
